Who are the District Mothers?
Neighborhood mothers are women who work voluntarily as community builders who, through their commitment, develop themselves and others. District mothers capture the needs of society, contribute to change and, based on their individual skills, reach out to residents to equip them for an integrated everyday life. Neighborhood mothers' efforts can be described as help for self-help. The basic idea behind the Stadsdelsmammors concept is that mothers are in many ways the key to the entire family's social life
Stadsdelsmammor - HBG is a non-profit association that works for women's human rights and an equal society.
Our goal is to break isolation and reduce alienation, create conditions for all ages, and promote good physical and mental health. At the center of the association's activities are personal development, and cultural integration process democracy and integration issues
